Dr. Marlo Archer has both a license to practice psychology and a license to drive a motorcycle.  On July 21, 2008, she was in a nearly-fatal motorcycle accident that put her psychology practice, and her life, on hold for at least 10 months.  During the first four or five months, she blogged her experiences to the great entertainment of family, friends, and friends of friends.  She has now assembled the blog entries, as well as some stories about her biker father, into a book entitled, Up from the Pavement.
